We are a body of believers who have come together to fulfill the will of God, which is to win the lost. We believe that we must die to ourselves that others might see Him, live through us. We will feed the hungry, visit those that are in jail, clothe the naked, house the homeless, and heal the sick. We are commissioned to love the world and that's what we do.

We are a RESOURCE CENTER for the central city community. We are a place of refuge, a hospital for the sin sick.

CARY PAYTON SR
Pastor of Greater St. Matthew #2. Born and raised in New Orleans, La., he has been pastoring The Matt, the very church he grew up in, for 7 years, and has been preaching the gospel for 36 years. He believes that wisdom and knowledge are the keys to effective living.
DENISE PAYTON
First Lady of Greater St. Matthew #2. Born and raised in Magnolia, La.
She has a heart for the youth in the kingdom of God, and she keeps a praise on her lips.
